Australia continues to invest in Laos’ human resource development with 30 new tertiary scholarships planned for the 2019 intake of the Australia Awards in Laos.
Sianong Phomkong is a Fulbright Fellow. In 2000, she graduated from the University of South Carolina, USA, home of the Fighting Gamecocks, with a Master Degree in International Relations. Nearly a decade earlier she had been an honors student at the Varonezh State Pedagogical Institute in former Soviet Union, where she received her first Master Degree in Russian Language and Literature.
Phonevilay Vongxay (Mow) works as the Finance and Administration Assistant. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Laos-Japan Institute.
Thavivone Soukaloun is the Finance and Administration Manager. She holds a bachelor degree in accounting from Chiang Mai University and finished a masters degree in Finance at Lattana College.
Hormdorkhuk Xaisomphaeng is the LANS Support Officer for the National University of Laos in Vientiane.
Phonemany Phommachak is the HRD Associate, was born in Vientiane Capital. Having worked for several international organizations and the Government of Lao PDR, she has a rich and unique mix of work experience.
