Session Topic: Measuring What Matters: Connecting Performance Management to the National HRD Strategy for Organisational Impact

Dr. Ryan Gould is the Deputy Head of the Department of Employment Relations and Human Resources at Griffith Business School, and current Treasurer of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management. Holding a PhD in Strategic Management. He has also served on the Management Committee for the Centre for Industry and Innovation Studies. Dr Ryan begins his teaching journey in the tertiary environment since 2008, his teaching has concentrated in the areas of performance management, organisational behaviour and the dynamics of workplace relationships. Ryan pursues a research agenda that seeks to improve our experience of work, focusing on motivation, performance and Employee Health and Well-Being. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, citations and commendations and he is also currently co-leading the “Catalysing Innovation and Educational Leadership in the Age of Gen AI” project, funded by the Department of Education (Queensland).
