With an impressive career leading change at the Ministry of Finance and modernizing HR systems for Lao businesses, Lila is now helping to shape the future of HR in Laos with the new Lao Human Resource Society.

Lila is an Australia Awards alumni with a Masters in Management from the University of Melbourne and is determined to empower Lao HR professionals to enhance HR systems fostering organizational growth and excellence nationwide.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫?

This year my goal to establish an official HR Professionals Association in Laos and to foster greater engagement among members of the Lao Human Resource Society. I plan to organize a series of workshops and training programs throughout the year, focusing on enhancing HR management capabilities for our members.

Our major annual event is the HR Conference which will take place towards the end of the year. Sponsored by Australia, it’s a forum for Government and the private sector to come to discuss best practice, network and plan the future of Human Resources in Laos.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞?

Traveling to explore different lifestyles and gain deeper understanding into how people live around the world is one of my favourite ways to spend my free time. Additionally, I find great joy in practicing yoga, jogging, and playing badminton, which help me stay active and balanced in both physical and mental health.
